talabat is hiring a Senior Senior ML Engineer — food delivery marketplace on the Delivery intelligence team (Hybrid · Dubai, United Arab Emirates). This is a hands-on role in NLP & language AI—not a generic “AI enthusiast” post.

You will own language understanding, generation, and quality metrics end to end: problem framing, offline evaluation, safe rollout, and iteration from production signals. Success is measured with clear metrics (quality, latency, cost, or business KPIs)—not slide decks alone.

Senior ML Engineer (hybrid Dubai): ETA, rider dispatch, restaurant ranking, and fraud for MENA peak demand.

What you will do

Improve geospatial and time-series models for delivery ETAs.
Run A/B tests on ranking and promo allocation.
Build Arabic/English NLP for support automation.

Stack & environment

Python, PyTorch, Spark, AWS.
Hybrid Dubai.

What we look for

Marketplace or logistics ML; MENA experience welcome.
UAE work eligibility required.
