InstaDeep is hiring a Senior AI Developer — deep learning products on the Applied research team (Hybrid · Tunis, Tunisia). This is a hands-on role in LLM & generative AI—not a generic “AI enthusiast” post.

You will own LLM features, retrieval, agents, and evaluation end to end: problem framing, offline evaluation, safe rollout, and iteration from production signals. Success is measured with clear metrics (quality, latency, cost, or business KPIs)—not slide decks alone.

AI Developer (Tunis hybrid): productize research into client-facing systems — scheduling, routing, protein design assistants, and enterprise copilots with rigorous evaluation.

Tunis is InstaDeep's historical engineering hub; you will collaborate with research scientists and forward-deployed engineers globally.

What you will do

Implement PyTorch models and serving paths from research prototypes to stable APIs.
Build eval harnesses, monitoring, and rollback for models used in client deployments.
Contribute to LLM/agent tooling for operations research and life-sciences workflows.
Mentor junior engineers; write clear technical docs for mixed research/product teams.

Stack & environment

Python, PyTorch, LangChain, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP depending on project.
Hybrid Tunis with optional collaboration in EU offices.

What we look for

Strong DL fundamentals and 3+ years production engineering experience.
Portfolio: papers, Kaggle, OSS, or shipped products with metrics.
English required; French helpful for EU client work.
