Snoonu is hiring a Senior AI Developer — marketplace & logistics ML (Remote Qatar) on the Data & AI team (Remote · Doha, Qatar). This is a hands-on role in LLM & generative AI—not a generic “AI enthusiast” post.

You will own LLM features, retrieval, agents, and evaluation end to end: problem framing, offline evaluation, safe rollout, and iteration from production signals. Success is measured with clear metrics (quality, latency, cost, or business KPIs)—not slide decks alone.

Snoonu is Qatar's leading super-app — on-demand delivery, groceries, pharmacy, and services — scaling across Doha and the Gulf with heavy mobile traffic and real-time logistics.

AI Developer (full remote within Qatar): improve ETA prediction, merchant ranking, support copilots, and fraud signals for a fast-growing MENA marketplace.

You work with product and operations in Doha while enjoying remote flexibility; models must perform in peak heat-season demand spikes and bilingual (Arabic/English) contexts.

What you will do

Build forecasting and ranking models for riders, merchants, and promo allocation.
Prototype Arabic/English LLM assistants for support and merchant onboarding.
Improve geospatial features for Doha traffic patterns and zone-level demand.
Document experiments and hand off stable APIs to backend squads.

Stack & environment

Python, PyTorch, SQL, LangChain, Docker on AWS/GCP.
Remote within Qatar; occasional on-site workshops in Doha.

What we look for

3+ years production ML or LLM; marketplace or logistics background valued.
English required; Arabic a plus for NLP and stakeholder work.
Eligible to work in Qatar (residency or transferable sponsorship).
