Scortex is hiring a Senior NLP Engineer — Multilingual LLM features on the Language tech team (Remote · Warsaw, Poland). This is a hands-on role in LLM & generative AI—not a generic “AI enthusiast” post.

You will own LLM features, retrieval, agents, and evaluation end to end: problem framing, offline evaluation, safe rollout, and iteration from production signals. Success is measured with clear metrics (quality, latency, cost, or business KPIs)—not slide decks alone.

Warsaw NLP squad improves cross-lingual retrieval, translation quality gates, and locale-specific safety filters as we expand across CEE and Western Europe.

Remote-EU friendly with quarterly on-sites.

What you will do

Fine-tune and evaluate multilingual encoders for domain-specific corpora.
Build lexical + neural hybrid pipelines where low-resource languages matter.
Partner with localization on evaluation sets and tonal guidelines.
Optimise inference cost per locale with caching and distilled models.
Maintain benchmarks comparing proprietary vs OSS LLM backends per market.

What we look for

4+ years NLP engineering with measurable production launches.
Python + transformers ecosystem fluency.
Passion for linguistic nuance—not only English-centric benchmarks.

Nice to have

Experience with GDPR language diversity requirements.
Speech-text cross-modal exposure.
