Hootsuite is hiring a Senior Senior ML Engineer — social intelligence on the Owly AI team (Hybrid · Vancouver, Canada). This is a hands-on role in LLM & generative AI—not a generic “AI enthusiast” post.

You will own LLM features, retrieval, agents, and evaluation end to end: problem framing, offline evaluation, safe rollout, and iteration from production signals. Success is measured with clear metrics (quality, latency, cost, or business KPIs)—not slide decks alone.

Hootsuite helps millions of organizations manage social media — scheduling, analytics, and Owly AI assistants from Vancouver.

Senior ML Engineer (hybrid Vancouver): NLP and GenAI for content drafting, sentiment, and campaign intelligence with brand-safety guardrails.

What you will do

Fine-tune LLMs for social copy with tone and compliance filters.
Build offline evals for hallucination and off-brand outputs.
Ship models with latency SLOs for in-editor experiences.

NLP/LLM in consumer or B2B SaaS.
