Terms of use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of ganloss.com and related services (collectively, the “Platform”) operated by Ganloss Inc. (“Ganloss”, “we”, “us”). The Platform is an AI and technology hiring marketplace that connects candidates, employers, and recruiters. Ganloss is not an employer, staffing agency, professional employer organization (PEO), or party to any employment or contractor relationship between users.

By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. About Ganloss

Ganloss provides software to publish and discover AI-related job opportunities, build candidate profiles, apply to roles, and manage recruiting workflows. Marketing descriptions of the service do not change Ganloss’s role as a technology intermediary.

2. Definitions

  • Candidate — a user seeking employment or contract opportunities.
  • Recruiter / Employer — a user or organization posting jobs or accessing candidate information for hiring purposes.
  • Listing — a job post or similar opportunity published on the Platform.
  • User Content — profiles, resumes, listings, messages, and other material you submit.
  • Subscription — paid recruiter access described in Section 15 and in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

3. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, if higher).
  • You must have legal capacity to enter a binding contract.
  • Recruiters must have authority to bind their organization and must not use the Platform for unlawful hiring practices.
  • Use from sanctioned countries or in violation of export controls is prohibited.

4. Account registration

  • Provide accurate, current information and keep it updated.
  • Maintain confidentiality of credentials; you are responsible for activity under your account.
  • One natural person per candidate account; no shared logins except authorized team seats for recruiters.
  • Notify us promptly of unauthorized access at support@ganloss.com.

5. Candidate accounts

Candidate signup is free unless a paid feature is explicitly offered. You control much of your profile visibility through product settings; see our Privacy Policy for details.

Candidate responsibilities. You represent and warrant that:

  • Your identity and professional information are truthful and not misleading.
  • You will not impersonate another person or use someone else’s profile.
  • You will not submit false degrees, employers, projects, or portfolio work.
  • You will not upload malware, illegal content, or content that infringes third-party rights.
  • You will not attempt to circumvent Platform limits or scrape other users’ data.

No hiring guarantee. Ganloss does not guarantee interviews, offers, or employment. Selection decisions are made solely by employers and recruiters.

6. Employer and recruiter accounts

  • You are responsible for users you authorize under your organization’s account.
  • You will use candidate data only for legitimate recruiting purposes permitted by law and our Privacy Policy.
  • You will honor applicable privacy notices you provide to candidates outside the Platform.

7. Job listings

Employer warranties. For each Listing, recruiters warrant that:

  • The role is genuine and currently open (or clearly labeled otherwise).
  • Compensation, location, work authorization requirements, and employment type (e.g., W-2, 1099, internship) are accurate to the best of their knowledge.
  • Working conditions and requirements comply with applicable federal, state, and local law.
  • Company information is accurate and the poster is authorized to recruit for that entity.
  • The Listing is not a scam, pyramid scheme, or deceptive lead-generation scheme.
  • Hiring criteria do not unlawfully discriminate and comply with equal opportunity obligations.
  • Immigration and work-authorization statements, if any, are lawful and not misleading.

Ganloss may remove, downgrade, or refuse Listings that violate these Terms or appear fraudulent, without prior notice.

8. Candidate profiles

You grant Ganloss a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, index, and format your User Content for Platform operation, SEO, and discovery (including public talent directory features where enabled). You retain ownership of your User Content.

9. Applications

  • Applications transmit information you choose to recruiters; delivery is not guaranteed.
  • Recruiters are independent controllers or processors of application data they receive—see Privacy Policy.
  • Ganloss is not responsible for recruiter response times or hiring outcomes.

10. Prohibited activities

Users may not:

  • Create fake accounts or impersonate any person or organization.
  • Publish fraudulent, misleading, or duplicate job listings.
  • Collect or export candidate data without authorization or beyond permitted recruiting use.
  • Scrape, crawl, harvest, or bulk-download Platform content (see Section 11).
  • Use bots or automated tools except via documented APIs we expressly authorize.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where law permits.
  • Distribute malware, spam, or abusive communications.
  • Discriminate unlawfully or facilitate illegal employment practices.
  • Post false compensation or misrepresent employment status.
  • Bypass subscription limits, paywalls, or access controls.
  • Sell, license, or redistribute Ganloss data or derived talent databases.
  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.

11. Anti-scraping and automated access

Except for standard search-engine indexing of public pages we allow, you may not use automated means to access, scrape, or copy profiles, listings, or other Platform databases to build a competing service or dataset. We may use technical measures (rate limits, blocking, legal action) to enforce this policy.

12. Recruitment and employment disclaimer

Ganloss is a marketplace and technology platform, not an employer, staffing agency, PEO, or agent of any user. Any employment, freelance, consulting, apprenticeship, or contractor relationship is solely between the relevant parties. Ganloss does not negotiate offers, run payroll, or supervise work.

13. Content moderation

We may review, remove, or restrict User Content or accounts to protect users, comply with law, or enforce these Terms. We are not obligated to monitor all content.

14. Intellectual property

The Ganloss brand, site design, software, and original copy are owned by Ganloss or licensors. Trademarks of third parties belong to their owners. No license is granted except as expressly stated.

15. Recruiter subscriptions and payments

Recruiter features may require a Subscription (currently $36 USD per month, subject to change on the pricing page). Subscriptions are processed by our payment provider (e.g., Stripe). By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel.

  • Billing cycle — monthly, unless otherwise stated at checkout.
  • Auto-renewal — renews each period until canceled in the dashboard or via Stripe customer portal where available.
  • Taxes — prices may exclude sales tax; Stripe Tax or similar may calculate tax where required.
  • Failed payment — we may suspend recruiter features until payment succeeds.
  • Price changes — we may change fees with notice; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance for renewal periods.

16. Refunds and cancellations

Cancellation stops future billing; access typically continues until the end of the paid period. Refund rules are defined in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

17. Account suspension and termination

  • You may close your account via settings or by contacting support@ganloss.com.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations, fraud, non-payment, or legal requirements.
  • Upon termination, listings may be unpublished; some data may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy.

18. Privacy and personal data

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, retention, international transfers, and your rights.

19. Third-party services

The Platform may link to third-party sites or offer social login (Google, LinkedIn, etc.). Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party sites.

20. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GANLOSS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

No guarantees. Ganloss does not guarantee that: a Listing will remain available; a recruiter will respond; a candidate will be hired; a candidate is qualified; compensation in a Listing will be offered in an offer letter; or any hire will occur.

21. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GANLOSS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE PLATFORM IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID GANLOSS IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (USD $100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, limits apply to the fullest extent permitted.

22. Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Ganloss from claims arising out of your User Content, Listings, hiring practices, misuse of candidate data, or violation of these Terms or applicable law.

23. Changes to the service

We may modify features, limits, or availability of the Platform at any time. We will use reasonable efforts to communicate material changes affecting paid Subscriptions.

24. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the revised version with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes may be notified by email or in-product notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

25. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that mandatory consumer protections in your state of residence may still apply where required by law.

Except where prohibited, you agree that exclusive jurisdiction for disputes relating to these Terms or the Platform lies in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, USA, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

Before filing a claim, you agree to contact support@ganloss.com to attempt informal resolution within 30 days.
