2. Data we collect
- Account: name, email, password (hashed), optional profile photo.
- Applications: message, portfolio links, application history.
- Recruiters: job posts, associated company information.
- Technical: server logs, essential session cookies.
3. How we use data
- Provide the service (accounts, applications, job listings).
- Improve search, SEO, and product security.
- Comply with legal obligations when required.
4. Retention
Active accounts: while the account exists, then up to 3 years after last activity. Applications: 2 years. Closed jobs: aggregated or anonymized after 12 months where possible.
5. Your rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data. Contact privacy@ganloss.com. California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA.
6. Processors
Hosting, database, email, and payment providers process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards. Social login (Google, LinkedIn) is used only if you choose that sign-in method.
