Monzo is hiring a Senior AI Technical Project Manager — banking copilots on the AI delivery team (Hybrid · London, United Kingdom). This is a hands-on role in LLM & generative AI—not a generic “AI enthusiast” post.

You will own LLM features, retrieval, agents, and evaluation end to end: problem framing, offline evaluation, safe rollout, and iteration from production signals. Success is measured with clear metrics (quality, latency, cost, or business KPIs)—not slide decks alone.

Monzo ships banking copilots under FCA expectations. AI Technical Project Manager coordinates ML, mobile, and compliance for GenAI releases.

Hybrid London N1: you keep delivery predictable without slowing innovation.

What you will do

Run weekly cadences across ML, backend, and design.
Maintain release calendars with model risk sign-offs.
Document incident playbooks for copilot failures.

Stack & environment

Jira, internal LLM gateways, hybrid London.
