About this role

What the team is looking for and how this position fits.

Typeform is hiring a Senior Senior AI Developer — form intelligence & copilots on the Product AI team (Hybrid · Barcelona, Spain). This is a hands-on role in LLM & generative AI—not a generic “AI enthusiast” post.

You will own LLM features, retrieval, agents, and evaluation end to end: problem framing, offline evaluation, safe rollout, and iteration from production signals. Success is measured with clear metrics (quality, latency, cost, or business KPIs)—not slide decks alone.

Typeform powers interactive forms and surveys used by millions of teams — from startups to enterprises — with a design-first product built in Barcelona.

Senior AI Developer (hybrid Barcelona): ship form copilots, smart question generation, and response intelligence using LLMs with strong privacy and multilingual support.

You partner with product designers and growth teams; success is measured in completion rates and time-to-publish, not offline benchmarks alone.

What you will do

Build RAG and tool-calling flows over help docs and form templates.
Design evals for suggestion quality, bias, and PII leakage before rollout.
Optimize inference cost for high-volume assistant requests.
Collaborate on EU AI Act–aware documentation for enterprise buyers.

Stack & environment

Python, LangChain, PyTorch, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes on cloud infra.
Hybrid Barcelona; English required, Spanish a plus.

5+ years shipping ML/LLM in B2B SaaS or consumer products.
Eligible to work in Spain or EU.
