Scale AI is hiring a Senior Forward Deployed AI Engineer — enterprise on the Customer delivery team (Hybrid · San Francisco, United States). This is a hands-on role in LLM & generative AI—not a generic “AI enthusiast” post.

You will own LLM features, retrieval, agents, and evaluation end to end: problem framing, offline evaluation, safe rollout, and iteration from production signals. Success is measured with clear metrics (quality, latency, cost, or business KPIs)—not slide decks alone.

Scale AI delivers data and GenAI platforms for enterprises and government.

Forward Deployed AI Engineer: embed with customers to ship RAG, agents, and evals under real constraints.

Missions

Scope, build, and hand off GenAI solutions with clear success metrics.
Translate customer workflows into reliable LLM applications.

Python, LangChain, AWS, Docker, SQL.
