Allegro is hiring a Senior Senior ML Engineer — e-commerce search & ranking on the Search & ads ML team (Hybrid · Warsaw, Poland). This is a hands-on role in NLP & language AI—not a generic “AI enthusiast” post.
You will own language understanding, generation, and quality metrics end to end: problem framing, offline evaluation, safe rollout, and iteration from production signals. Success is measured with clear metrics (quality, latency, cost, or business KPIs)—not slide decks alone.

What you will do
- Improve learning-to-rank and embedding models for product search.
- Build ads ML with budget pacing and relevance guardrails.
- Run rigorous A/B tests with long-term seller and buyer KPIs.
- Collaborate on Polish-language NLP for queries and listings.
Stack & environment
- Python, PyTorch, Spark, SQL, Kubernetes on GCP.
- Hybrid Warsaw; Polish required for stakeholder work.
