AI Governance Lead — risk & EU AI Act readiness

Prophesee is hiring a Lead AI Governance Lead — risk & EU AI Act readiness on the GRC — AI team (Hybrid · Brussels, Belgium). This is a hands-on role in risk & decision ML—not a generic “AI enthusiast” post.

You will own real-time scoring, monitoring, and governance end to end: problem framing, offline evaluation, safe rollout, and iteration from production signals. Success is measured with clear metrics (quality, latency, cost, or business KPIs)—not slide decks alone.

Brussels-based GRC pod helps product and legal teams interpret EU AI Act obligations, vendor due diligence for foundation models, and internal policy updates as guidance evolves.

Hybrid; legal background not required but risk literacy is essential.

What you will do

• Maintain risk classification registers linking features to Annex III-style obligations.
• Coordinate DPIA refresh triggers when model or data scope changes.
• Run third-party model vendor reviews (API terms, data processing, sub-processors).
• Facilitate workshops for PM/Eng on documentation expectations (FRIA-style analyses).
• Track regulatory consultations and translate into engineering backlogs.

What we look for

• 6+ years in risk, compliance, or security roles touching software products.
• Comfort reading legal memos and turning them into engineering checklists.
• Excellent stakeholder diplomacy in high-ambiguity environments.

Nice to have

• ISO 42001 / AI management systems exposure.
• Fluent FR/NL in addition to EN.
