What the team is looking for and how this position fits.

Yassir is hiring a Senior Senior AI Developer — super-app & mobility on the Data & AI team (Hybrid · Algiers, Algeria). This is a hands-on role in LLM & generative AI—not a generic “AI enthusiast” post.

You will own LLM features, retrieval, agents, and evaluation end to end: problem framing, offline evaluation, safe rollout, and iteration from production signals. Success is measured with clear metrics (quality, latency, cost, or business KPIs)—not slide decks alone.

Yassir is North Africa's leading super-app — ride-hailing, food, and financial services — founded in Algiers and expanding across the Maghreb.

Senior AI Developer (hybrid Algiers): dispatch, pricing, fraud, and Arabic/French copilots for drivers and consumers.

About Yassir

Algerian startup scaled to Morocco, Tunisia, Senegal, and beyond.

What you will do

Build ETA and surge models for dense urban zones.
Ship LLM support tools in Arabic, French, and English.
Improve fraud detection on wallets and ride payments.

Stack & environment

Python, PyTorch, LangChain, GCP.
Hybrid Algiers.

Mobility or marketplace ML; Maghreb market knowledge valued.

SQL
Analytical SQL for features, cohorts, label quality, and experiment analysis at scale.
