SAP is hiring a Senior AI Developer — enterprise copilots on the Joule engineering team (Hybrid · Vancouver, Canada). This is a hands-on role in LLM & generative AI—not a generic “AI enthusiast” post.

You will own LLM features, retrieval, agents, and evaluation end to end: problem framing, offline evaluation, safe rollout, and iteration from production signals. Success is measured with clear metrics (quality, latency, cost, or business KPIs)—not slide decks alone.

SAP Joule is the enterprise copilot across ERP workflows. AI Developer in Vancouver builds plugins, retrieval, and tool integrations for Canadian customers.

Hybrid Vancouver: enterprise security and tenant isolation are non-negotiable.

What you will do

Extend Joule with customer-specific RAG and transactional tools.
Write automated evals before regional rollouts.
Collaborate with solution architects on S/4HANA contexts.

Stack & environment

Python, LangChain, Kubernetes, SAP BTP.
Hybrid Vancouver Dunsmuir.
